We started NPC Cargo because shipping to the Maldives was unnecessarily expensive and unreliable. Our goal is to become the most trusted name in Malaysia–Maldives air cargo.
Our Story
In 2025, our founder noticed something strange: shipping a parcel from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore took 2 days and cost around RM10. The same parcel to Malé, Maldives — just a 4-hour flight away — took 2 weeks and cost $20+/RM85+. The Maldives was being treated as an afterthought by global logistics companies.
We set out to fix that. NPC Cargo was built from the ground up to serve the Malaysia–Maldives corridor specifically. We negotiated direct cargo space on weekly KUL→MLE flights, hired a local team in Malé, built relationships with Maldivian customs authorities, and created a seamless process that makes shipping to the Maldives as easy as shipping domestically.
Our goal is to serve over +10,000 customers — from individual shoppers forwarding Malaysian e-commerce purchases, to resorts and hotels importing supplies, to businesses shipping industrial equipment to construction projects across the atolls.
